Samsung Galaxy Z Fold to launch in future might come with an S pen slot

The next-generation of Samsung Galaxy Z Fold might launch with an inbuilt slot for the S Pen and also reduce the screen crease.

With the launch of the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3, the South Korean tech giant introduced the S Pen to its foldable line-up. But this introduction wasn’t as effective as with the S22 Ultra. The pen in question comes with its case and stays away from the device, hence breaking the S Pen thrill as users know it to be.

But, recent reports reveal that Samsung might be planning to add an S Pen slot with its coming foldable devices. This will make carrying the S Pen around less stressful for users, as they are currently required to carry the pen around in a bulky case. An integrated slot means that the S Pen will follow the coming Galaxy foldable anywhere and everywhere, hence improving productivity.

This is just one among the many plans Samsung has in store for their coming Galaxy Z Folds. Other plans include increasing the number of production units with foldable to make them more popular and reducing the crease along the folding screen. Additionally, the company intends to make it’s foldable devices stand out from the competition by introducing flagship-level camera systems to the next-generation foldable devices.

Previous reports also pointed to the possible presence of a cheaper Galaxy Fold line-up. If those reports are anywhere close to being accurate, the major difference between the standard Samsung Galaxy Z Fold and the more affordable models will be performance and productivity. The cheaper models will use mid-range processors, lack an X

S Pen slot, and launch without flagship-level cameras. More information on the next-generation of Samsung’s foldable devices will be available in the months to come.
