According to BYD Auto’s official WeChat account, BYD recently held a brand launch conference in Doha, the capital of Qatar, and launched 5 new energy models for Qatar: BYD ATTO 3, Seal , Han, Qin PLUS DM-i and Song PLUS DM-i.

According to officials, following the opening of BYD’s flagship store in Doha, this brand launch conference marks BYD’s official launch in the Qatar market and will fully promote the transformation of local green travel methods. BYD will continue to delve into the Middle East market and promote the electrification transformation in Qatar.
Peng Lei, BYD’s regional sales director in the Middle East, said:
We actively respond to the sustainability goals in the Qatari government’s Vision 2030 and fully support Qatar’s green transformation process. As the global sales champion of new energy vehicles, BYD will bring more mature and diversified green travel solutions to the Qatar passenger car market, helping more Qatari consumers realize their dream of owning new energy vehicles.
It is noticed that BYD launched ATTO 3 and other models in Middle Eastern countries such as Jordan and the United Arab Emirates last year. In 2023, BYD’s annual new energy vehicle sales exceeded 3 million units, winning the global new energy vehicle sales championship. New energy vehicles have been sold in more than 70 countries and regions around the world and in more than 400 cities.
