As part of their growth endeavours for next year, the Samsung Mobile business aims to sell 270 million smartphones. This aim puts them 10 million smartphone units above their current estimated sale standing. For a company like Samsung, this aim seems to be realistic considering its presence in most regions.

To help grow its sales, the South Korean tech giant has its budget A-series, flagship S-series, and the Z fold and flip series. All series come with the Galaxy branding, but one out of all three will be of main concern by next year. Reports have it that the brand will aim to grow the sale of its foldable smartphone line, this growth might help boost sales.

As we already know, yearly Samsung launches two foldable devices to the global market, possibly this might change. With the possible shift of attention to the foldable market, we might see more foldable devices make their way into the Samsung Mobile business ecosystem. A few months ago, we got reports that Samsung was working on a more affordable Galaxy A-series foldable device. This might be the company’s tool to step up sales and move more buyers in the direction of the foldable market.

For now, Samsung reigns supreme over the global foldable market, as it gets little or no competition from other foldable manufacturing brands. This is so because most foldable devices from Huawei, Honor, and Vivo retail only in China. Samsung’s swift move to get the global market more immersed in the Galaxy foldable line might earn them higher sales come 2023.
