A recent image of the protective case for the Huawei Mate 50 Pro exposes its rear camera cutout. This confirms the previous leaks of this flagship device that will launch in a matter of weeks. This device will come with the Huawei Mate series iconic circular camera cutout.

The leak shows a total of four rear cameras and a sensor. This design is different from the cutout on the Mate 40 series from two years ago. Unlike the previous Mate series, the Huawei Mate 50 Pro leaked case confirms a setup that places the sensors next to each other.

Thanks to the blogger Digital Meishi we now have confirmation of what the rear end of this device will look like. If we recall, the blogger also shared the protective film which shows a notch in the display of this device. Whether the coming Mate 50 Pro will launch with a notch or not, we aren’t certain at this time.

What we do know is that this device will feature the Huawei XMAGE for a flagship photography experience. The Mate 50 series will as well use the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 4G chipsets. But the Pro models or select models for certain regions will make use of the Kirin 9000S processor. Both processors will be 4G enabled, as Huawei can’t access 5G technology for its chip business.

The launch of these devices will happen in the month of September. Reports also have it that they will launch together with the Aito M7 or M5 electric vehicles. The Mate 50 series will be the first set of devices from Huawei to launch with HarmonyOS 3 out of the box.
