According to liliputing reports, Cooler Master cooperated with Framework, a laptop modular solution provider, to launch a mini chassis that can be installed with Framework’s motherboard.
According to reports, Cooler Master’s upcoming case has a transparent design on the top and measures 297 x 133 x 15 mm. The case supports a Framework-mounted motherboard that integrates the CPU, heatsink, fan, laptop memory slots, and NVMe storage. The chassis is also equipped with the same four expansion card slots as the 13.5-inch Framework laptop, and users can expand out USB-A, USB-C, Ethernet, HDMI, DisplayPort, microSD interfaces.
For Framework modular laptop users, you can re-use old motherboard modules that you have upgraded and replaced in this mini case.
According to reports, this mini case will be launched this spring, priced at $39 (Currently about 268 CNY)
