The game studio Wildcard issued an announcement in April this year, stating that the game “Ark 2” (ARK 2) was postponed until the end of 2024. Digital Domain, which recently participated in the production of the game, once again stated that the game has been delayed until the spring of 2025.
The financial report information of Digital Domain is here, and on page 17 it shows that “Ark 2” will be released in the spring of 2025.
Gaming media GamesRadar reached out to Studio Wildcard. “I don’t know where that spring 2025 information came from,” a spokesperson for the studio said in an email.
In a follow-up to GamesRadar, the same Studio Wildcard spokesperson admitted that what happened was likely the result of a “simple clerical error.” Digital Domain has not yet commented.
GamesRadar believes that the “Ark 2” game will be in early access before the end of 2024 and officially released in the spring of 2025.
