XPeng G9 flagship SUV gets a configuration upgrade

Clarifications on the different configurations of the Xpeng G9 are now available for customers due to high demand.

Due to high demand for the new flagship electric SUV, the Xpeng G9, the company is stepping up its configurations. This SUV hit the Chinese EV market at launch on September 21 after gaining much attention in the region. Now buyers are getting even more options to better suit what they need from the family-size electric SUV.

In total, there are eight configurations for customers to choose from in the XPeng G9 flagship SUV. The available models are 570 Plus, 570 Pro, 570 Max, 702 Pro, 702 Max, 650 Performance Pro, 650 Performance Max, and 650 Launch Edition. At the electric vehicles launch event, the 570 Plus was of focus (concerning the pricing information) but now clarification as to the various trims and configurations is available.

One core feature that is available across all models is the XPILOT assistant driving system. All models but the 570 Plus offers users the 5D Music cockpit experience. But only four models have the smart city navigation pilot system. The four models are the Max versions on the 570 and 702 models then all models from the 650 configurations except the 650 Performance Pro.

A major difference that will affect the choice of a buyer is the range of all eight models. The 570 models all have the least range of 570km, the 702 configurations have a 702km range, while the 650 configurations have a range of 650km. As for the price range, the XPeng G9 flagship SUV starts at a retail price of 309,000 Yuan and goes up to 469,900 Yuan.
