User feedback about incompatibility with Pioneer brand USB drives after upgrading macOS Ventura 13.2

According to foreign technology media MacRumors reported that users feedback after upgrading to macOS Ventura 13.2, there is incompatibility with Pioneer brand CD / DVD / Blu-ray drives connected via USB.

Apple officially rolled out the macOS 13.2 update in late January of this year, fixing various bugs in addition to enabling a new Apple ID security key feature.

The Reddit community, Twitter social media and Apple / Pioneer support forums and found that there is a lot of user feedback about the above issue.

Pioneer official wrote in a notice.

"We have determined that our optical drive is not correctly recognized in Apple's January 23, 2023 release of macOS Ventura 13.2.

We are currently investigating this symptom. We ask that customers using our optical drives not update to macOS Ventura 13.2."
