According to the requirements of the Measures for the Implementation of the Regulations on the Administration of Automobile Product Recalls, the recall plan has been filed with the State Administration for Market Regulation, and the following vehicles will be recalled from March 1, 2023.
- Toyota Motor (China) Investment Co., Ltd.
Recalls a total of 25,734 imported Lexus NX vehicles produced between November 15, 2021, and January 10, 2023.
- FAW Toyota Motor Co., Ltd.
Recalling a total of 6,213 bZ4X vehicles produced between September 6, 2022, and February 2, 2023.
- GAC Toyota Motor Co., Ltd.
Recalling a total of 6,159 bZ4X vehicles produced between November 15, 2022 and February 3, 2023.
Due to the improper internal program of the front camera in the safety driving assistance system of the vehicles within the scope of this recall, when the vehicle passes a road with continuously parked vehicles on the side, there may be differences in the target recognition, resulting in safe driving. Auxiliary systems (TSS / LSS+) may reboot unexpectedly. During the restart period, the safety driving assistance system cannot work normally, and there are potential safety hazards.
Toyota Motor (China) Investment Co., Ltd., FAW Toyota Motor Co., Ltd., and GAC Toyota Motor Co., Ltd. will upgrade the internal program of the front camera for free for vehicles within the scope of the recall to eliminate potential safety hazards. Emergency measures: Before the recall for maintenance, if the PCS warning light on the instrument panel is on, please contact the dealer for inspection and repair in time.
