Accessories manufacturer Satechi released a new solid-state hard drive box USB4 NVMe SSD Pro, designed to improve transmission speed and extend the life of SSD.
The enclosure allows for quick and easy installation of an M.2 NVMe SSD. Support USB4 and Thunderbolt 4 high-speed SSD, uplink port transmission speed up to 40Gbps, it is an excellent solution for expanding storage, upgrading the system, backing up files, retrieving, restoring and transferring data.
The enclosure features a solid aluminum design that dissipates heat to prevent overheating and ensure peak performance. Additionally, the polycarbonate enclosure helps keep the enclosure within standard operating temperatures while users transfer files.
Satechi’s 100% tool-free plug-and-play design is easy to install, and the SSD can be easily installed in the hard disk box. Plus, it requires no additional drivers or tools, so it’s easy to start using the product.
The plug-and-play SSD Pro enclosure is compatible with Windows, Mac, and Linux systems. The enclosure supports M.2 NVMe SSDs in multiple sizes – 2280mm, 2260mm and 2242mm – up to 16TB.
The host operating system must support the SSD file system for access, and like all SSDs, new media must be formatted before use.
Satechi’s USB4 NVMe SSD Pro enclosure will be available in the second quarter of 2023 for $119.99.
