Samsung launched the Galaxy S23 series at the Galaxy Unpacked launch event early this morning, and one of the notable details is that the Galaxy S23 Ultra has a built-in Adobe Lightroom app, which is the flagship model’s only native photo editing tool.

Adobe Lightroom

The Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra starts at CNY 9,499 and comes with a powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip. The bigger highlight is the 200 megapixel main camera, which uses pixel merging and other methods to further enhance image quality.

Naturally, Samsung expects the Galaxy S23 Ultra to deliver a superior camera experience for professional users and has partnered with Adobe to make Lightroom the only native photo editing tool for the Galaxy S23 Ultra.

Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra users can control various professional settings of the camera by using the Expert RAW app in conjunction with it.

Users can change ISO, aperture settings and shutter speeds just as they would on a mirrorless or DSLR camera. Once photos are taken, they can be edited in Adobe’s Lightroom app, which is now the default photo editor on the Galaxy S23 Ultra.

The official app description.

Adobe Photoshop Lightroom is a free photo and video editor with stunningly powerful presets and filters that allow you to capture and edit beautiful images, making it an unbeatable p-image and video editing software.
