Foxconn Chairman Liu Yangwei: plans to set up electric car parts factories in Europe

According to Taiwan’s Economic Daily News, Foxconn Chairman Liu Yangwei revealed yesterday that he is planning to set up an electric vehicle parts factory in Europe for the first time, while he will go to the United States from March to April to sign contracts with customers, during which he may also announce new plans for the Wisconsin plant in the United States and inspect the Mexico plant.

In terms of model planning, Liu Yangwei said that this year’s Foxconn Technology Day will definitely launch new models.

Specifically, Liu Yangwei pointed out that Foxconn Group originally had ICT-related factories in several places in Europe, and it will go to Europe for the first time to set up electric vehicle-related factories. Slower, the parts factory will be faster.

Liu Yangwei said that he will visit customers in the United States from March to April. There should be several related signing activities at that time, and he will go to the Ohio factory in the United States for the first time. The Wisconsin factory also has some new plans.
