(Pictured) Porsche Design and AGON by AOC collaborate to launch high-end gaming monitor PD27S

Porsche Design and AGON by AOC have partnered to launch the Porsche Design AOC AGON PRO PD27S, a 27-inch high-end gaming monitor inspired by Porsche sports cars. The monitor has a refresh rate of 165Hz, though it can be overclocked to 170Hz, a grayscale response time of 1ms, DisplayHDR 400 certification, and a wide color gamut.

The PD27S combines a unique, original and functional design with next-generation technology, whether it’s for everyday workloads, business-related use, or entertainment and high-performance gaming, this monitor meets the user’s task requirements.

The PD27S inherits the impeccably practical design aesthetic of the 32-inch PD32M, introduced in April 2022, which won 2022 iF Design Award and the Red Dot Award: Product Design 2022. The main focus of the PD27S is the sandblasted aluminum cast bracket, whose durable, functional construction and distinctive shape are reminiscent of a sports car’s steering wheel and wheel spokes.

The PD27S combines Porsche Design’s unique design with AGON by AOC’s superior display expertise to deliver outstanding functionality to an ambitious user, especially the gaming community.

The Porsche Design AOC AGON PRO PD27S features a flat IPS (AAS) panel for high color accuracy and a wide color gamut. Thanks to the powerful and vivid color reproduction of the 10-bit IPS panel, the PD27S covers 95% of the DCI-P3 color gamut and 99% of the sRGB color gamut. DisplayHDR 400 certified colors on the PD27S enable the monitor to decode and produce high dynamic range content in movies and games to display lifelike images.

The 27-inch PD27S gaming monitor offers QHD resolution (2560×1440) and has a high pixel density of 109 PPI, making it ideal for commerce. With Adaptive-Sync technology, the PD27S supports variable refresh rates to eliminate artifacts such as tearing and stuttering. A refresh rate of 165 Hz to 170 Hz and a 1 ms GtG response time ensures smooth motion with virtually zero ghosting in most AAA games.
