As the automobile industry gradually shifts to the use of electric vehicles, brands like Lexus are not afraid to show what they got. The Toyota-owned company is taking little steps into the EV market, and it seems to be stepping things up. Already the brand has some Hybrid vehicles like the UX, NX, RX, and LS Hybrid series.

Most of the Hybrid cars from the Lexus brand as we sighted above are SUVs or coupes, but in this article, we will focus on performance vehicles. The automobile maker took to its website to share some information and pictures of its concept performance electric cars. Asides from the all-electric sports car they shared on their website, the company also gave some concepts of their come all-electric saloon and SUV.

These vehicles are to be the first of their kind since Lexus does not have an all-electric car of any make to its name. All three concept vehicles are reminiscent of Lexus’ design language and do not stray from what we are used to seeing. The only obvious difference to note is the absence of a grill in all three concept images. This is because electric vehicles do not need a grill since they lack a combustion engine.

The company is going electric and has given us a glimpse of its future as a car manufacturer. We are already in expectation of the RZ 450e, which will be the company’s first-ever fully-electric vehicle. This vehicle will be available in the month of December with some refinement to its design while maintaining that Lexus’ unique touch.

All three concept vehicles from the company will become available at later dates. The company will communicate the launch date and availability of all three concept cars once available. In the meantime, we are glad to see yet another brand take a new and electric path in the automotive industry.
