According to foreign media reports, the latest data from research institutions show that Tesla has dominated the U.S. luxury car market in the first half of this year, with nearly 230,000 new registrations, higher than the number of new registrations of BMW, Mercedes-Benz and a host of other luxury car manufacturers.

Tesla was able to dominate the U.S. luxury car market in the first half of the year thanks to the Model Y and Model 3, two of the best-selling electric cars, according to research firms.

According to the agency, the Tesla Model Y registered 103,215 new units in the U.S. market in the first half of the year, the highest number of new registrations for an electric car. The Model 3 followed with 97,075 new registrations in the first half of the year.

And since the Texas mega-factory went into production in the first half of this year, the capacity of the Model Y in production is still rising, and as this factory’s output continues to rise, the Model Y will have more capacity to deliver in the U.S. market than the Model 3.

Tesla is currently delivering a total of 4 electric cars, in addition to the Model Y and Model 3, and the Model S and Model X, which were launched earlier and sold at a higher price, these two were registered 15,317 and 13,382 new units in the U.S. market in the first half of this year, respectively, the 4th and 5th highest new registrations of electric cars in the U.S. market in the first half.
