iPhone’s Dynamic Island feature expected to extend to all iPhone 15 model

Display industry analyst Ross Young says Apple plans to extend Dynamic Island to all four iPhone 15 models to be released next year. In a tweet, Young said that he expects Dynamic Island to be available on the standard iPhone 15 models next year.

However, he still doesn’t expect the standard iPhone 15 models to come with LTPO displays, suggesting that these devices will continue to lack ProMotion support and an always-on display configuration like the Pro models.

The Dynamic Island is a pill-shaped area surrounding the Face ID sensor and front camera on the iPhone 14 Pro models. The feature displays system alerts such as incoming calls and Face ID authentication prompts, and it will also be adapted for use with live activity in third-party apps when iOS 16.1 is released later this year.

In the past, the analyst has accurately revealed that the iPhone 13 Pro model and the 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pro will feature ProMotion, the sixth-generation iPad mini will feature an 8.3-inch display, the latest MacBook Air will feature a slightly larger 13.6-inch display and much more.
