iPad mini 6 can’t be charged after updating iPadOS 15.5: Apple has started an investigation

0

Today, MacRumors reports that Apple is investigating the issue of the iPad mini 6 not charging after the update. Several iPad users reportedly gave feedback that the iPad mini 6 would not charge after updating to iPadOS 15.5. After testing by Apple, this issue still could not be resolved after the iPad mini 6 battery was replaced, and it was determined to be a software bug.

Apple is currently testing iPadOS 15.6 Beta, and the new version of iPadOS is expected to address this issue.

It is worth noting that iPad mini 6 will receive the official iPadOS 16 update later this year.

It is reported that iPadOS 16 adds support for virtual memory swapping, which means that iPad onboard storage can be used as APP memory and can provide up to 16GB of memory for the most demanding APPs.

iPadOS 16 also brings new ways to collaborate with others. The new APP Collaboration makes it easy to transfer files and even initiate collaborations directly, make multi-person video calls and more.
