Photomator, an image editing app developed by the Pixelmator team and initially available only on the iOS platform, is available on the Mac App Store today.
Photomator is available for $4.99 per month (currently about RMB 35), $29.99 per year (currently about $209) or for a one-time fee of $99 (currently about RMB 689). If you have already purchased the iOS version of Photomator, you can use the Mac version for free.
Photomator supports over 600 file formats, including Apple’s ProRAW format. Users can use a full range of color adjustment tools and filters to edit images, as well as selections to make changes to parts of the image. Artificial intelligence selection tools allow users to easily separate the subject or background of an image, and users can also use brushes to make manual selections or use gradient masks. photomator has other AI-driven features such as intelligent auto-crop, advanced noise reduction, super-resolution enhancement, and more.
The Pixelmator team currently maintains two Mac apps, Pixelmator Pro and Photomator, which simply includes a subset of Pixelmator Pro’s features, as well as some additional features for photographers’ needs.
