Tencent Cloud today announced price reductions for a number of core cloud products, up to 40% for some product lines, which will officially take effect on June 1.
Specifically, in this price reduction plan, Tencent Cloud will further increase the discount for some regional cloud server instance special hours, and the price will be reduced by up to 40%.
In terms of cloud networks, Tencent Cloud has reduced the LCU fee for load-balancing CLBs by 18% and standard NAT gateways by 15% to benefit users on the cloud at lower prices.
In terms of database, Tencent Cloud’s database TDSQL-C serverless has newly released the resource package payment model, and the publication price has been reduced by as much as 25% compared with the same specification of annual and monthly packages. serverless’s feature of billing according to actual usage can help users reduce costs by up to 80%.
In terms of cloud security, Tencent Cloud Host Security Basic Edition will be open for free to small and medium-sized enterprises across the network, while opening up asset management and one-click physical examination capabilities for free, allowing enterprise customers to achieve “0 cost” to improve security capabilities.
Ali Cloud also announced the largest price cut in history, core product prices across the board by 15% to 50% and storage products by up to 50%.
