According to previous news, Apple is expected to hold the 2023 WWDC keynote on June 6, Beijing time, and at this WWDC keynote, Apple will release iOS 17, macOS 14, watchOS 10, tvOS 17 and the long-awaited AR / VR headset. The latest article from Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman says that Apple will also bring a 15-inch MacBook Air laptop to the WWDC keynote.

Gurman has previously said that Apple will introduce a new MacBook Air at WWDC, but this is the first time he has explicitly said that Apple will introduce a 15-inch MacBook Air.

The 15-inch MacBook Air is expected to be upgraded only in terms of screen size, while the rest of the configuration will most likely be the same as the previously released 13-inch MacBook Air.

According to Apple’s website, the 13-inch MacBook Air features a new slim design, four elegant looks, a wider 13.6-inch Liquid retina display, a 1080p HD camera, MagSafe charging support and more powerful features. Its M2 chip with a more powerful 8-core CPU and up to 10-core graphics helps users do more faster. 100GB/s of unified memory bandwidth and support for up to 24GB of high-speed unified memory allow the new MacBook Air to handle larger, more complex workflows with ease.

Ming-Chi Kuo, an analyst at Tianfeng International, has said that the new MacBook Air will come with two M2 chip options that have a different number of cores than the existing 13-inch model. In addition, he predicted that the new 15-inch MacBook would be equipped with either the M2 or M2 Pro chips. The new model will be clearly labeled as the 15-inch MacBook “MacBook Air,” not a new product line, and shipments of the device are expected to reach 5-6 million units in 2023.
