Google is about to release the new mid-range phone Pixel 7a, this phone will inherit the design style of Pixel 7, while improving the camera and performance, now the reliable whistleblower @onleaks shared the high quality of Pixel 7a rendering.
As can be seen from the picture, the Pixel 7a and Pixel 6a have basically the same appearance, both using a 6.1-inch OLED screen and a central punch-hole front camera with a wider frame. The difference is that the Pixel 7a’s rear camera has changed from a rectangular module to a horizontal strip module with a groove, which looks more stylish. In addition, the body material of Pixel 7a has also been upgraded from plastic to metal, and the camera module has also been changed from glass to matte aluminium.
It is reported that Pixel 7a will be available in three colours: white, grey and light blue. Light blue might be called sky blue or arctic blue, grey might be called carbon, and white might be called cotton. This rendering is also the first to show the Pixel 7a in a light blue colour scheme.
In terms of configuration, the Pixel 7a will be equipped with Google’s self-developed Tensor G2 chip, which is an 8-core processor based on a 5-nanometer process and has powerful artificial intelligence capabilities. The Pixel 7a will also feature a 6.1-inch OLED screen with a refresh rate of 90Hz, a 64MP main camera and a 13MP ultra-wide-angle camera, and support for wireless charging. In terms of storage, the Pixel 7a may have a combination of 128GB and 6GB or 8GB.
While the Pixel 7a hasn’t changed much on the outside, there are plenty of improvements on the inside that could make it one of the best mid-range phones of the year.
At present, the release date of Pixel 7a has not been officially announced, but based on past experience, it is expected that the new machine will be unveiled at the Google Developers Conference held on May 10, 2023, and officially launched in June. In terms of price, due to the impact of inflation, Pixel 7a may be more expensive than Pixel 6a, reaching around $500 (currently about 3440 CNY).
