BYD today released official pictures of the interior of the Qin L model, showing the interior details of the new car.

As you can see from the picture, BYD Qin L is equipped with a full LCD instrument panel + a large-sized central control screen. The official said it has “landscape painting, spacious and comfortable cockpit, high style, elegant atmosphere” and is positioned as a “mid-level sedan”.

As can be seen from the picture, Qin L retains multiple physical buttons on the steering wheel, and the seats adopt a line texture, making the overall design relatively simple.

As can be seen in another picture, below the car’s central control screen is a wireless charging panel.

In terms of appearance, the new car is significantly different from the Qin Plus in design. The front grille is wider and the car logo design is similar to the Song L, which improves its recognition. The tail uses a through-type taillight with the same “Chinese knot” style as the Han model, which makes it look better. The body size of Qin L is 4830mm x 1900mm x 1495mm, and the wheelbase is 2790mm.

The Qin L is expected to be equipped with the fifth-generation DM-i hybrid system, and adopt a new hybrid-specific chassis code-named “P5”, as well as a MacPherson strut front and four-link independent suspension at the rear. As a plug-in hybrid, the new car offers two battery capacities of 10.08kWh and 15.87kWh, with pure electric cruising ranges of 60 kilometers and 90 kilometers respectively.
