Recently, we learned from Chery officials that the Discovery 06 C-DM will be launched at the Beijing Auto Show on April 25. As a plug-in hybrid compact SUV, it has a pure electric range of 120km under CLTC conditions and WLTC conditions. The comprehensive range is 1,300km, and the fuel consumption of the feeder is 4.9L/100km.
In terms of appearance, the Discovery 06 C-DM continues the design of the fuel version. The center grille adopts a straight waterfall design. The daytime running lights are connected to the center grille and adopt a design similar to a racing flag. The headlight set is a double lens design. The side of the body adopts a suspended roof, hidden door handles, and the body design style is relatively tough. The vehicle’s taillights echo the daytime running lights, and are also designed in a style similar to a racing flag.
The interior adopts a minimalist design style, including a full LCD instrument panel and a large vertical central control screen. The entire Discovery 06 C-DM series is equipped with an 8155 chip and a 13.2-inch interactive AI digital screen as standard, which can listen to music and K You can listen to songs, play games, and watch videos. The center console is equipped with a through-type air-conditioning outlet, and pays attention to the construction of materials. In terms of power, Discovery 06 C-DM is equipped with three major components of Kunpeng Super Hybrid C-DM, which is composed of the fifth-generation ACTECO 1.5TGDI high-efficiency hybrid special engine, stepless super electric hybrid DHT, and hybrid smart electric management system. Among them, the hybrid-specific engine adopts Miller cycle, fourth-generation intelligent thermal management and other core technologies, with an engine thermal efficiency of 44.5%. For users, higher engine thermal efficiency means more complete fuel combustion, achieving both performance and energy saving. With the intervention of the hybrid intelligent electric management system, Discovery 06 C-DM realizes free switching of five intelligent driving modes including pure electric, extended range, engine direct drive, parallel and energy recovery. It has a pure electric range of 120km under CLTC working conditions, a comprehensive range of 1,300km under WLTC working conditions, and a fed fuel consumption of 4.9L/100km.
