BYD factory will stop producing fuel-powered vehicles

Following the world’s gradual shift to electric vehicles, the BYD factory will stop producing fuel vehicles. This is a full electrification of the automobile company, and one might wonder how this will affect its existing customers. Certainly, this will turn out to be a wise move from the BYD that other automobile manufacturing companies will follow in the coming months.

Thanks to its growing economy, China is the world’s largest automobile market. This includes both pure electric vehicles and fuel-powered vehicles. On the side of fuel-powered vehicles, the large nature of the Chinese market causes air pollution. Bringing an end to the use of fuel-driven cars from one manufacturer to the other will help reduce the level of pollution. Asides from this, the BYD factory has yet another reason as to why it’ll stop producing fuel cars.

BYD Factory

The first reason on the company’s list is its global growth as an electric vehicle producer. The sale of BYD electric cars is growing daily as more people in regions other than China have begun purchasing them. Shifting totally to EV production will help the company focus on channelling its growth to become a leader in the global EV space.

The second reason is to create more space to produce even more electric vehicles. Producing both electric and fuel cars together makes the electric line suffer. Ending fuel driven cars production process will help the company focus more on EVs, hence producing more than it currently does.

As for customers currently using fuel powered BYD factory cars, the company promises to continue offering services to them. Such services like repairs, check-up, and other after-sale actions the cars regularly needs. The move from BYD will not only be a win for them as a company but also for the planet at large.
