ASUS all-new Dreadnought 16 2022 notebook with 12th gen Intel processor will debut on May 7. This device is a stylish and enthusiast device and will pack features that will appeal to the young as well as older gadget lovers. Let us take a look at the coming Dreadnought (aka VivoBook) and what it might bring to the table.

The Dreadnought 16 2022 notebook will use a larger screen if compared to its predecessor, the Dreadnought 15. The screen size is a massive 16 inch LCD, which is a few inches bigger than the Dreadnought 15. The actual specs of this device are not yet out, but, speculations as to the improvements it’ll feature can be deduced from its predecessor.

Intel 12th-generation Core i5-1240P processor is the processor on the Dreadnought 15. This processor has a total of 12 cores and 16 threads, paired with 16GB DDR4-3200 and 512GB SSD storage, hence assuring users of maximum performance. ASUS will try to step up the performance of the Dreadnought 16 hence making the device more powerful. Possibly the processor on this device will be upgraded to a 12th gen Core i7-12700K, processor or the upgraded i5-12600K to improve the performance.

The previous Dreadnought model made use of heat dissipation to cool the laptop while in use. This dispensation system featured a single fan and dual heat pipes, this combination ensured a steady flow of cool air within the Dreadnought 15 hence keeping overheating at bay. We can as well except a similar or more advanced cooling system on the Dreadnought 16. The device will also feature standard ports like HDMI, USB-C, USB-A, and a lightning port alongside other interfaces.
