A render of the possible successor of the Pagani Huayra, released a few months back by some netizens, has a name and a launch timeframe today. If we go by the recent reports that have come out, this much-anticipated new car, code-named C10, will hit the markets in mid-September this year. September 12th, 2022, is the reporter’s best bet for the exact date.

Pagani C10 render

According to these latest renders from multiple online sources, including Instagram user Varryx, the Pagani C10 is seen to share some features with the Pagani’s older models. While the skylights on the roof and the wide front grille are comparable to Huayra, the teardrop-shaped cabin clearly reminds of Zonda.

While the front of the car features a lot many curves, the rear end is flatter as compared to Huayra. The car also seems to have taken design inspiration from the company’s earlier models where the dinky rear wings and the angular front bonnet are very similar to the C12S model.

Pagani C10 specifications (rumoured)

The Pagani C10 would be a rear-wheel-drive that would use a new version of Mercedes-AMG’s 6.0 litre twin-turbocharged V12 engine that has been updated to draw power close to 850-880 horsepower. Customers can choose between a manual gearbox or a dual-clutch automatic option with shift paddles. With the C10, the company’s focus has been more on handling than on power, with a lot of thought put into making the car economical by its weight.

As of now, the company plans to limit the production of this new variant to around 280 units. These would include coupe, roadster, and special variants. C10 would supposedly be Pagani’s last to draw power from pure combustion. Future models are expected to be hybrid, as would be revealed by the company later this year.
