AMD R7 7840U and R7 7840H / HS processors will be unblocked tomorrow, and a large number of notebooks, handhelds, and mini-computers equipped with the processors will be released and launched in May.

In terms of parameters, the R7 7840U and R7 7840H / HS should both be the same, the difference is the power consumption is different. This processor uses a 4nm process, Zen4 architecture, 8 cores, and 16 threads, up to 5.1GHz, 8MB L2 cache, 16MB L2 cache; the core is 780M, 12CU RDNA3 architecture, 2700MHz frequency. The series processors support LPDDR5x-7500 memory and a memory capacity of up to 256GB.

The products equipped with R7 7840 series processors will be released as early as tomorrow.
