Google Chrome owns 63.51% of the Global Browser market share and ranked first

Research institute StatCounter released a report for May 2023, revealing the latest statistics about the browser.

Across all platforms, Chrome ranked first in April with 63.51% global market share, down 1.25% from 64.76% last month; Safari ranked second with 20.43% share, up 0.91% from last month; Edge ranked third with 4.96% share, up 0.32% from last month; and finally, Firefox Finally, Firefox ranked fourth with 2.77% share, down 0.16% from the previous month. Samsung, Opera, UC Browser and other browsers split the remaining market share.

On the desktop side, Chrome ranked first with 66.13% of the global market share in April, up 0.36% from 65.77% last month; Safari ranked second with 11.87%, up 0.95% from the previous month; Edge ranked third with 11%, down 0.13% from the previous month; and finally, Firefox ranked third with 5.65%. Opera, Internet Explorer and 360 Safe Browser share the remaining market share.

On the mobile side, Chrome ranked first with 61.96% global market share in April, down 2.66% from 64.62% last month; Safari ranked second with 26.85% share, up 1.73% from last month; Samsung ranked third with 4.8% share, up 0.31% from last month; and finally, Opera ranked third with 1.88% share. UC Browser, Android Browser, Firefox and other browsers split the remaining market share.
