OPPO is expected to announce the Reno 9 series of smartphones by the end of this month in China. The lineup is likely to have three models, namely, the Reno 9, the Reno 9 Pro, and the Reno 9 Pro+. Today, a tip from Digital Chat Station showed the main features of a phone that seems to be the Reno 9 Pro+.

There are not many companies that are working on Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 powered devices. However, OPPO seems to be working on a couple of devices featuring the SD8+G1 chip. The upcoming Find X6, Find N2 foldable, and Find N Flip are also said to be equipped with the SD8+G1.

However, the specifications that the tipster shared today belongs to the Reno 9 Pro+. Without mentioning the name of the device, the tipster revealed that the device will arrive with a 6.7-inch OLED panel, which will have a punch-hole and curved edges. The screen will offer 2412 x 1080 pixels resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and an under-screen fingerprint scanner.

The device is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 chipset. It packs a 4,700mAh battery with 80W charging. It is equipped with a metallic middle frame.

On the front, the Reno 9 Pro+ has a 32-megapixel front-facing camera. The back panel of the device features a 50-megapixel 1/1.56-inch Sony IMX890-series primary camera.

The above specs are similar to the expected specifications of the Find X6. Since the X6 is expected to feature a 1.5K resolution display, it appears that the above specs belongs to the OPPO Reno 9 Pro Plus.
