After upgrading macOS 13 Ventura, users experience irregular syncing of Microsoft Exchange calendars

0

Apple’s macOS 13 Ventura is causing some problems for users who use the calendar or reminder lists of their Microsoft Exchange accounts, according to some user reports.

Apple released the official macOS 13 Ventura system last week. Since the release, users have shared issues with their Exchange calendars no longer syncing properly with Apple’s Calendar or Reminders app.

In some cases, other issues still occur when the Exchange calendar syncs with Apple’s built-in calendar app, such as event dates and times being synced incorrectly, event invitations not going through, reminders not syncing, and other related buggy issues.

It is unclear how Apple macOS 13 Ventura is causing these issues, or if the issue is coming from Microsoft’s side. Users running macOS 12 Monterey have not reported similar issues, so at least for now, it appears to be a buggy macOS 13 Ventura.

In the meantime, users can try deleting and re-adding their Exchange accounts to their Macs to hopefully resolve the issue. For users still running macOS 12 Monterey with Exchange accounts, it’s best to wait until the issue is patched before updating to macOS 13 Ventura.
