The ZTE Nubian Red Magic 8 Pro+ is the latest entry into the smartphone gaming industry. This device comes with a top-performance processor, a large memory, and a massive storage capacity. Just like most other gaming smartphones, this entry from ZTE’s Nubian Red Magic comes with an aggressive design.
One of the best features of this new gaming smartphone is its under-display camera sensor. This is the same front-facing camera technology that is present on the ZTE Axon 40 Ultra. The screen size of the new Nubian Red Magic Pro+ device is 6.8-inch, and it uses an AMOLED panel and supports a 120Hz refresh rate. Thanks to its screen, users can game without any interference from the selfie camera cutout.

The processor on this device is the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, and it receives support from up to 16GB worth of memory capacity. Also, there are various options for storage and the maximum capacity is 1TB UFS 4.0 fast storage. Being a gaming device, the new ZTE Nubian Red Magic 8 Pro+ comes with tons of optimization and heat-cooling features. There is also an independent gaming chip, the Red Magic R2, on this smartphone to help optimize gaming performance.
There are also lots of controls around the device’s side for gaming more effectively. For photography, this device comes with a triple rear camera setup housing a 50MP main camera. Under the screen lies a 16MP front-facing camera for taking crisp and clear selfies.
Other features of this device include a 5000mAh battery capacity which supports 165W fast charging. The Red Magic 8 Pro+ runs on Android 13 with gaming customizations from the Red Magic OS 6 software. There are two colour options with this device, Black and transparent. It retails at a starting price of 5199 Yuan (~$746).
