Apple today began selling new Zens charging accessories on its U.S. website, including modular four-in-one charging stations for iPhone, iPad, AirPods and Apple Watch.
According to MacRumors, the charging station has a built-in MagSafe charger that wirelessly charges iPhone 12 and newer models at 15W, while the Apple Watch Modular Charging Extension supports fast charging for the Apple Watch 7 Series, 8 Series and Ultra, allowing those Apple Watches to wirelessly charge from 0% to 80% in about 45 minutes, either connected to the modular master station or on its own. The charging station also has a 30W USB-C port on the right side for charging iPad and MacBook Air, as well as a Qi-certified charging pad for charging AirPods.
The charging station features a modular design with an Apple Watch charging pad that magnetically connects to the main charging station for iPhone, iPad and AirPods and shares power from a 65W power adapter. There are two additional magnetic pins for connecting other modular components sold separately on the Zens website, such as an additional Qi charging pad or USB-A charger. the MagSafe charger can be adjusted to tilt to accommodate different iPhone viewing angles.
The Zens company also says the charging station is made of recycled plastic.
While it’s convenient to be able to charge your iPhone, iPad, AirPods and Apple Watch in the same place, the charging station is priced at $179.95 (about 1,274 CNY) on Apple’s online store in the U.S., which is not a bad price for delivery in early December.
