Xiaomi Civi 2 will use Huaxing screen, is expected to support 1920Hz PWM high frequency dimming

Earlier today, digital blogger @DigitalGossipStation said that the new Xiaomi Civi will be released in the second half of this year. Now, the blogger has revealed more news about the machine.

According to Digital Gossip Station, the Xiaomi 12 Lite (internal codename L9) has a Huaxing flexible screen with minor upgrades in brightness and color accuracy, native 10bit dithering 12bit color depth, and support for 1920Hz PWM high-frequency dimming. The Xiaomi Civi 2 (internal code L9S) engineering machine is also Huaxing screen, normally speaking, its color depth and high-frequency dimming should be retained.

According to the blogger, Xiaomi 12 Lite originally had a national version, but was pushed back to do the new Xiaomi Civi 2, and the iterative image will also be upgraded.

Xiaomi announced on July 9 the launch of Xiaomi 12 Lite phone for overseas markets, which is equipped with Snapdragon 778G processor, equipped with up to 8GB memory and 256GB storage. As for the screen, Xiaomi 12 Lite features a 6.55-inch AMOLED screen with 120Hz refresh rate, 240Hz touch sampling rate, HDR10+ and Dolby Vision.

In terms of imaging, Xiaomi 12 Lite features a 32MP selfie camera on the front and three rear cameras: a 108MP main camera, an 8MP wide-angle lens and a 2MP macro lens. In terms of battery life, Xiaomi 12 Lite is equipped with 4300mAh battery and supports 67W fast charging.

The Xiaomi 12 Lite is priced at 400 euros for the 6GB+128GB version, 450 euros for the 8GB+128GB version, and 500 euros for the 8GB+256GB version.
