The Xiaomi 12 Lite is a follow-up of the Xiaomi 12 series launched at the end of 2021. The 12 series packed a total of three devices during its launch event. Xiaomi 12 Pro, 12, and 12x graced the December launch event. But judging from the previous Xiaomi flagship series, the Mi11, we can be sure that Xiaomi has unfinished business. The Mi11 series has six devices under it, and among these flagship devices is a Lite model that is affordable yet keeps up to the specs and Impressive design seen on the rest of the devices in this series. Xiaomi plans to launch a Lite model for the 12 series, and for a while now we only had spec evidence for this device, but that isn’t the case anymore!
Xiaomi 12 Lite leaked design
The leaked images of the 12 Lite are crisp and clear, so one can see in detail what this device looks like. Weibo blogger WHYLAB is responsible for the leaked Xiaomi 12 Lite images, which are available on his page. We can notice a few changes from the Xiaomi 12 trio launched in December.
The design of the Xiaomi trio uses a curved back frame, but this is not the case with the Xiaomi 12 Lite leaked images. The leaked images showcase a 90° flat edge design, this might help users better grip the device. We can also see the nature of the screen from the leaked images. A 6.55 inch FHD+ OLED flat screen with a centre punch hole camera cut out.
On the back of the device, we can confirm that it has a presence of a triple camera setup. The inscription on the camera bump also points out the 108MP main camera. We can not vouch for these leaked images, as well as the specifications and processor of the 12 Lite.

The Xiaomi 12 Lite has already bagged certification from four reputable outlets namely, FCC, Geekbench, TKDN, and EEC. This certification makes the specs of this device known to the mobile gadget world. The specs of this device are as follows:

The 12 Lite has already secured itself a score on Geekbench, which places it on the level of a mid-range flagship device. The pricing and lunch date of this device will come directly from the company. We have to wait patiently for this information whilst accepting the leaks with a pinch of salt!
