WWE wrestler launches blockchain game for fraudulent class action

Youtube anchor wrestler Logan Paul has been hit with a class action lawsuit for alleged fraud in his NFT game “CryptoZoo”. Another YouTuber, Coffeezilla, who specializes in investigating fraud in the cryptocurrency field, found that Paul’s “CryptoZoo” was a scam. “CryptoZoo” is a blockchain game that was supposed to bring income to Paul’s loyal fans and early investors, but it actually swept away the investment of all participants because Paul’s team preempted the token zoo in the game. All coins are sold.

According to Coffeezilla’s findings, some people hired to work on the game CryptoZoo claimed to have made thousands of dollars, while other investors interested in the so-called game lost hundreds or thousands of dollars.

At first, Paul was very angry with Coffeezilla’s investigation behavior in the past year, and posted a video saying that he would sue him, but then deleted the video, apologized to fans and Coffeezilla, and offered to “complete and deliver” “CryptoZoo” The three-step plan, but the plan has been basically declared bankrupt since August 2021. Today, Coffeezilla tweeted that Paul will face a class action lawsuit.

The initiator of the class action is a police officer in Texas, who invested about $3,000 of his personal funds in CryptoZoo, hoping to get something in return. He has filed a lawsuit in the city of Austin. In the suit, the plaintiffs are seeking more than $75,000 in damages from the defendants on charges of “conspiracy to defraud,” “fraudulent misrepresentation,” “negligence,” “unjust enrichment,” and more. Everyone involved in the game’s creation has been charged, including Paul and former lead developer Eddie Ibanez. In addition, the plaintiff also requested to bear attorney fees, litigation costs, civil penalties and moral damages.

Paul has not responded to the lawsuit, but he made an appearance (and was injured) at the January 28 episode of WWE. His YouTube channel and podcast have not been updated since February. Next, Paul’s image will also appear in “WWE 2K23”, which will be released on March 17.
