Tesla has released a teaser on its official Twitter page, saying that a Track Package for the Model S Plaid with ceramic brakes will be released soon, which will allow the car to go faster than 322 km/h (201 mph).
The Model S Plaid is designed to have a top speed of 262 km/h (163 mph), and can then be increased to 281 km/h (175 mph) with Track Mode.
Official figures show that the Model S Plaid can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in less than 2 seconds; it also features the latest triple-motor design, which gives the vehicle a longer range than previous versions, up to 628 km.
The Track Package is estimated to cost between $15,000 and $20,000 (currently about RMB 104,000-138,000).
