Vivo X90 series rumoured to launch in the month of December

A recent leak has shown that the Vivo X90 series will make its debut within the month of December using the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC.

As we draw closer to the launch of the next-generation flagship processors, smartphone manufacturers are preparing to launch new devices such as the Vivo X90 series. This coming smartphone series from the BBK subsidiary is said to make its debut in the industry in the month of December. Bits and pieces of this device line-up are becoming clearer as a series of leaks make their way to the internet.

According to the available reports regarding the coming Vivo flagship series, the launch will not wait a year before succeeding the existing series. Already, Vivo is working on clearing its inventories of previous units from the X80 series before announcing its new smartphone series. This clearing processor is not to delay, as plans are already in motion to launch the next-generation flagship devices before the end of 2022.

Asides from information about the launch of the Vivo X90 series, previous leaks also have the possible specifications of the device line-up. From what is available, this series might be the one to debut the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 and the next-generation MediaTek processors. At launch, we expect there to be three devices in this series the Pro+, Pro, and base models. 

The Pro and the Pro+ models will use the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processors, and the base model will make use of the MediaTek processor. All Pro model devices will launch with AMOLED curved screens and a 1-inch camera sensor. The least battery capacity on the series will be 4700mAh and the standard charging speed on all three models is 100W according to the leak.
