Reinforcing its commitment to the metaverse, the HTC Vive VR headset product line-up is preparing to welcome a new entry. The company took to its Twitter page to share a teaser image of its coming VR headset, which will launch in the coming months. This coming VR headset might launch under the company’s Vive Flow product line, which currently holds only one product.

The original HTC Vive Flow made its entry into the world of virtual reality about a year ago and is ready to get a successor. This device helps its users to view digital content from their mobile device in a 3D setting by establishing a connection between a phone and the VR glasses. Already a few manufacturers like Nreal have put out their new VR glasses which offer some features that aren’t available on the Vive Flow.

In comparison, the new Nreal VR glasses are smaller and more portable than the Vive Flow making it a better option for those shopping for such products. HTC knew that it needs to make some adjustments and upgrades to its coming VR headset. We can be sure to see such adjustments once the coming HTC Vive VR headset is launched.

The teaser of this coming VR product on HTC’s Twitter page comes with the write-up “go small or go home” pointing to a reduction in size from its predecessor. HTC understands that reducing the size of its VR headset will give it a better chance at selling in a progressively competitive VR market. The company didn’t say much about the specification of this device or when it will launch, we will wait to get more clarification about this device.
