Vivo X90 series has a Pro+ version of the oversized cup with a 1-inch outsole

Vivo released the Vivo X80 series of flagship phones. The previous news showed that the next generation of Vivo’s flagship, the Vivo X90 series, will be released at the end of this year or early next year. Today, a blogger has revealed more information about the Vivo X90 series of phones.

According to digital blogger @digitalchatstation today, the Vivo X90 series phones are expected to be released in December this year and the X90 series phones have the Vivo X90 Pro + version with Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor for the extra-large cup model. In terms of imaging, the Vivo X90 Pro + flagship phone will come with a 1-inch super large base + a high-quality new telephoto solution. Meanwhile, the blogger said in a reply to a comment from a user that the new telephoto is a periscopic telephoto and that there is no small-screen version of the Vivo X90 series of phones.

On July 23, Jia Jindong, Vivo’s vice president of branding and general manager of brand and product strategy, revealed that Vivo would be bringing a new product with a telephoto experience close to that of the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra and that the two nodes to look out for would be “mid-August and mid-November”.

According to the blogger, the X90 Standard Edition’s image and performance are the usual iterations, with the more obvious upgrades being the fast charging solution and screen quality, leaving the only shortcomings of the machine to be the secondary camera in general.

On 4 August this year, the blogger broke the news about the charging options for the Vivo X90 series. He said that the Vivo X90 series was torn between upgrading to 120W fast charging or going for a universal 80W wired + 50W wireless charging solution. For reference, the Vivo X80 standard version has a 4500mAh battery + 80W wired fast charging solution and does not support wireless charging. vivo X80 Pro has a built-in 4700mAh battery and supports 80W wired fast charging + 50W wireless fast charging.

The blogger said yesterday that there are two screen sizes for the Vivo X90 series, BOE with 1.5K resolution and Samsung (SDC) with 2K resolution E6 substrate.

Vivo X80 / Pro series phones start at RMB 3699. The Vivo X80 is equipped with MediaTek’s Tiangui 9000 chip and features a 6.78-inch Samsung E5 1080p+ 120Hz AMOLED dual-curved display with three rear cameras of 50MP primary (IMX866, RGBW, OIS, 1/1.49-inch output 1/1.56) + 12MP ultra-wide angle (IMX663) + 12MP telephoto portrait ( IMX663).

X80 Pro available with Snapdragon 8 / Tiangui 9000 chips, 6.78″ Samsung E5 material 3200 x 1440 120Hz LTPO AMOLED screen, four rear cameras of 50MP main (S5KGNV, OIS) + 48MP ultra-wide angle (IMX598) + 12MP telephoto portrait (IMX663, VIS Micro Cloud Desk. 2x) + 8MP periscope telephoto (hi847, OIS, 5x).
