Counterpoint Research released its ranking of high-end smartphone shares in China for the second quarter of 2022, in which Vivo sales grew 91 percent year-over-year, occupying the second position in China’s high-end market for the first time, and the growth of Vivo’s high-end phone sales cannot be separated from the success of the X80 series.

Digital blogger @DigitalChatStand said today that the X80 Standard Edition sold best in the Vivo X80 series. The blogger also broke the news that the X90 Standard Edition’s image and performance are regular iterations, with the more obvious upgrades being the fast charging solution and screen quality, leaving the machine’s shortcomings at the secondary camera in general.

On August 4 this year, the blogger broke the news about the charging scheme of the Vivo X90 series. He said the Vivo X90 series is torn between upgrading to 120W fast charging or popularizing the 80W wired + 50W wireless charging scheme. For reference, the Vivo X80 standard version uses a 4500mAh battery + 80W wired fast charging solution, which does not support wireless charging. In Vivo, X80 Pro has a built-in 4700mAh battery and supports 80W wired fast charging + 50W wireless fast charging.
