Vivo X Fold S to launch soon; specs and rear panel design leaked

The company’s first foldable smartphone, the Vivo X Fold was launched earlier this year. The foldable smartphone has been made so well that it still competes very well with the latest launched foldable smartphone from other brands. Now, this time for the successor of the Vivo X Fold, which will be formally known as Vivo X Fold S.

Vivo X Fold S specs and design leaked; launch imminent

Known tipster Digital Chat Station has shared information regarding the upcoming Vivo X Fold S device on the Chinese microblogging platform, Weibo. According to the source, the Chinese smartphone manufacturer will soon introduce a new foldable smartphone in China. The precise launch date for the smartphone was not disclosed by the leak, though. In accordance with earlier reports, the informant also said that the upcoming foldable phone will be powered by Qualcomm’s newest Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC.

The smartphone will be powered by a 4,700mAh battery pack, which also enables 80W rapid charging. Furthermore, the future Vivo X Fold S is expected to have a rear panel design identical to the previously released X Fold. According to reports, the smartphone would also include an 8.03-inch primary AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 120Hz.

The secondary panel will reportedly be a 6.53-inch AMOLED panel with a Full HD+ resolution and a refresh rate of 120Hz. According to the source, the upcoming foldable phone will have a quad camera arrangement with 50-megapixels main, 48-megapixel ultra wide angle, 12-megapixel telephoto, and 8-megapixel periscopic sensors. Meanwhile, the front will be equipped with a 16-megapixel selfie camera.
