Vivo X Fold S is in its development stage and will use the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC

We are now seeing a new generation of foldable devices, of which the Vivo X Fold S will be part in no distant time. Already Vivo has a foldable device to its name, now the company is working on another entry into the foldable market. The certification of this coming device has made its way to the public thanks to Digital Chat Station.

Not only did the Weibo blogger share the certification of this device, but he also went on to tell a bit about its specifications. The information provided by Digital Chat Station is in no way an official statement, but a leak. Some of the features this leak touches on display, charging speed, battery, camera, processor, and sensors.

We will start with the specification of this coming device which is to be the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1, the storage capacity is not known for now. Moving on to its screen, the Vivo X Fold S will use an LTPO display type and support a 120Hz refresh rate. The camera ability is not clear, but the tipster says that this foldable will use a 50MP outsole periscope lens. 

The battery on this coming foldable will be a bit larger than that we see on the Samsung Galaxy Fold 4. According to DCS’ leak, the coming Vivo foldable device will launch with a 4700mAh battery which will charge at 50W. Lastly, the tipster says this foldable will use a dual ultrasonic fingerprint sensor which will sit under the screen. From its certification, we can say that this device is in its development stage and will soon launch.
