The screen of the Honor Magic 5 series has a 1.07 billion colors true color display, DCI-P3 wide color gamut, Delta E ≈ 0.27 performance index, and has received HDR10+, IMAX ENHANCED authority certification, Magic 5 display peak brightness (HBM) reached 1600nit, Magic 5 Pro display maximum brightness even reached 1800nit. The Magic 5 Pro display reaches a maximum brightness of 1800nit.
The Magic 5 Pro uses two innovations in Visionox’s low-power solution, “HLEMS” and “Hybrid-TFT” technology, reducing power consumption by nearly 10 percent, Visionox said.
HLEMS is a technology that uses microstructure design and optimization of refractive index between film layers to change the path of partial light extraction to improve light extraction efficiency.
The technology used in this release of Magic 5 Pro, according to Visionox, improves light extraction efficiency by 12% compared to its predecessor.
