Toyota 2023 released a Land Cruiser concept Land Cruiser Se, and according to a new report from Autocar, Toyota is preparing to launch two new electric models, one of which is based on the production model of this concept car.

Toyota Chief Brand Officer Simon Humphries says the brand is “exploring new ways to travel” to strengthen the Land Cruiser brand while “further enhancing people’s freedom of mobility.”

Another model is the 2021 Toyota Compact Cruiser EV concept, with a hybrid version due in 2024.

In contrast, the Land Cruiser Se is expected to go into production in 2026 to celebrate the 75th anniversary of the Land Cruiser. The new car will be equipped with Toyota’s newly developed prismatic batteries, with a range of up to 600 miles (Note: about 965.61 kilometers).

Toyota unveiled the Land Cruiser Se concept car last October, a pure electric SUV with a three-row seating layout, with a length of 5,150mm and a wheelbase of 3,050mm.

The model features a number of futuristic design features, such as a floating roof, electronic exterior mirrors, hidden door handles, frameless doors, large wheels, and wide-bodied wheelarches that flare out from the body.
