Porsche’s all-electric Macan design unveiled, to launch on January 25

Porsche officials recently announced the appearance of pure electric Macan design drawings, this new car is the Porsche brand’s first based on the PPE platform (Premium Platform Electric) SUV models, the use of permanent magnet synchronous motor (PSM) and 800V technology, will be released on January 25th.

As you can see from the drawings, the new car’s exterior design is very sporty, with the iconic split headlamps at the front, including a four-spoke combination of matrix LED daytime running lamps at the top, and both low and high beam headlamp clusters at the bottom.

The rear of the car has a through tail light design, with the iconic Porsche logo in the center and the Macan model logo below. the rear end is very rounded, and the black lower surrounds add a sporty touch.

As previously reported, the new cabin is equipped with three displays, the most striking of which is the 12.6-inch all-digital floating curved display, which is located directly in front of the driver’s line of sight, and can display a variety of important information and data.

The new car also comes with an Augmented Reality Heads-Up Display, which projects navigation, speed and other information onto the windshield so the driver doesn’t have to look down to see it. In addition, the new car comes standard with ambient lighting with communication lamps, which can notify and alert occupants with different colors and brightness in situations such as welcoming, charging or interacting with driver assistance systems.

In terms of power, Porsche has equipped the new car’s front and rear axles with the latest generation of permanent magnet synchronous motors with an output of more than 450 kW, and in the flagship version there is also the electronically controlled Porsche Traction Management system, which distributes more than 1,000 Nm of torque in real time. The new car also features Porsche Active Suspension Management with two-valve damping technology, air suspension, lateral locking of the rear axle and, for the first time, a five-stage steering angle for the rear axle steering system.
