Tesla’s new model revealed to be a Robotaxi self-driving cab

Tesla today held a Tesla Semi electric truck delivery ceremony. At the site, Tesla previewed a new model when introducing its product plan, but the appearance of this vehicle was not disclosed.

When Elon Musk was asked about his favorite Tesla car design, he said it was the next upcoming design, but he wasn’t able to talk about it.

Tesla reveals new model ahead of schedule
Tesla said the company’s current product lineup covers major ground transportation, including the Mode S / Y for the luxury car / SUV segment, the Model 3 for the midsize car market, the Tesla Semi, which focuses on the commercial vehicle segment, and the Cybertruck, an all-electric pickup truck.

The PPT shows that Tesla’s new self-driving cab Robotaxi is also on the agenda, but so far nothing has been revealed about this vehicle except its existence itself, which we don’t know about yet.

It will be “futuristic,” Elon Musk said. To confirm this, Tesla’s design chief added that the “advent of autonomous driving” is the future of transportation and that it will “fundamentally change the form of the car, the way it is used and the way the interior space is used”.

Elon Musk’s announcement that the company would develop a “very futuristic” Robotaxi at the Austin factory’s inauguration in April 2022 momentarily overshadowed the factory ceremony itself.

In fact, he said back in 2019 that he was “pretty sure” that Tesla would be able to offer self-driving cabs by 2020 and that there would be more than 1 million of them on the road by 2020, but apparently he missed the mark and Tesla hasn’t been able to do that so far.

He said at the time that Tesla’s self-driving cabs had no steering wheel, no pedals, and no human controls inside, and were only available in some markets due to regulatory issues.
