Tesla’s U.S. website shows that the Model Y long-range version price has been increased by $1,500 to $54,990 (currently about RMB 372,000), while the high-performance version has been increased by $1,000 to $54,990 (currently about RMB 393,000).

But in reality, even after the price increase, the Tesla Model Y is still much more affordable in the U.S. than it was last year. The crossover SUV was priced at RMB 65,990 on the company’s official website before a big price cut in January.

The Tesla Model Y was already one of the best-selling vehicles in the United States last year, and that’s with a much higher price tag than other vehicles. With its lower price tag, the all-electric crossover is likely to see a significant increase in sales this year.

The current price of the Tesla Model 3 and Model Y in mainland China is the lowest in the world, with the Model 3 starting at just RMB 229,900 and the Model Y starting at just RMB 259,900.

The Model Y is currently priced at RMB 259,900 for the standard rear-wheel drive version, RMB 309,900 for the dual-motor all-wheel drive long-range version, and RMB 359,900 for the high-performance version.
