Chinese companies are rapidly expanding their overseas operations. On July 29, 2021, Ningde Times released the first generation of sodium-ion batteries, with the energy density of the cell monomer reaching 160Wh/kg, which is the highest level in the world.

The power can reach 80% after 15 minutes of charging at room temperature. And in the environment of -20°C low temperature, it still has a more than 90% discharge retention rate.

Ningde Times’ plan is that the energy density of the second generation sodium ion battery will be above 200Wh/kg and the basic industrial chain will be formed in 2023.

China Automotive Power Battery Industry Innovation Alliance recently announced the top 15 companies in the domestic power battery installation volume in June.
