On July 21, 2022, the seventh meeting of the third session of the board of directors of the company considered and approved the proposal on investment and construction of Jining new energy battery industrial base project by 9 votes in favor, 0 votes against and 0 abstentions.
Ningde Times Jining new energy battery industrial base site for Jining City, Shandong Province Yanzhou District, will build power battery systems and energy storage system production line, each phase is expected to start construction from no more than 24 months, the project planning land area of about 2,000 acres.
Today, Ningde Times signed a strategic cooperation framework agreement with the Shandong Provincial Government in Jinan, and signed an investment agreement with the Jining Municipal Government and an investment agreement for the power exchange network, in which the parties will work together to build a green low-carbon recycling economic system and create a new energy industry cluster with global influence.
According to the agreement, the two sides will focus on the organic integration of green energy and green manufacturing development, vigorously develop new energy batteries and materials, power exchange and energy storage applications and other new energy industries, actively attract and cultivate upstream and downstream supporting industries, promote new energy vehicles, promote ship electrification, and constantly grow new energy industry new business, build a new engine for high-quality development.
China Automotive Power Battery Industry Innovation Alliance recently announced the top 15 companies in the domestic power battery installation volume in June. Among them, Ningde Times ranked first with 49.60%, BYD, LG New Energy, China Innovation Aviation (AVIC Lithium) and Guoxuan Hi-Tech ranked 2-5 with 18.53%, 6.19%, 6.01% and 4.94% respectively. In addition, the 6th to 15th positions are Xin Wanda, Honeycomb Energy, Yiwei Li-energy, Vonergy, Rui Pu Energy, Tafel, Duoduo, Penghui Energy, Lixin, and Jiewei Power, in that order.
