With Android 14, you’ll be able to use your fingerprint to sign in to third-party apps. Third-party apps can use Android’s new credentials manager to integrate all of a user’s sign-in routes, such as passwords and “Sign in with Google,” to simplify the sign-in experience and provide security support.

Canadian carrier Telus has now listed when it will start rolling out software updates to the devices it sells. “Android U” is listed as rolling out to all Pixel devices starting with the Pixel 4a on October 4.

Note: Android U is the abbreviation of Android Upside Down Cake, which is the internal code name of Android 14.
